Since 2004, Roman Kuznetsov and his friends tried to set up a small art business in Saint Petersburg, the city of artists and art critics, opening a salon selling paintings and wooden sculptures.

In 2005, Roman registered the company "Exchange of Arts" LLC and in 2008, a corresponding website was created birjis.ru

Roman, a native of Leningrad, who was born in the historical center of the Vasileostrovsky district, in a house whose Windows looked out on the Academy of painting, sculpture and architecture named after Ie, was a prerequisite for this career. The second line of Vasilievsky island, served as the motives of childhood, filled with happy impressions and moments of life up to five years, spent by the boy directly near the mosaic workshops with pieces of smalt scattered everywhere, like precious stones, next to Russian and foreign artists who speak different languages in picturesque and graphic plein-airs in the "Rumyantsev" garden, next to the open Windows of the Academy, where students painted portraits of Nude models. This all together played a role, gradually opening for Roman, who in his youth studied at the Baltic state technical University "Voenmehe" as an engineer, his real vocation, humanitarian path, and life mission – to aesthetically inspire people who have high spiritual demands, with the help of art.

The initial commercial group exhibitions and sales of art objects in the location of the St. Petersburg state art and industrial Academy named after A. L. Stieglitz, In the Central exhibition hall "Manege" expanded the horizons and gave more communication with the audience and with interesting contemporary authors.

In 2014, Roman Kuznetsov, with accumulated experience in organizing exhibitions, took the works of professionally strong, established St. Petersburg artists to the Central house of Artists in Moscow. As a result, they had commercial success and additional fame, and recognition in the capital's academic circles from recognized masters of Russian art, such as Zurab Tsereteli.

In the same year 2014, Roman Kuznetsov met Andrey Tunikov during his trip to Italy in Milan, offering to think about cooperation, discuss joint foreign prospects, use the available opportunities to exhibit works and find buyers for them at domestic exhibitions.
